As opposed to the strict confines of advertising photography, editorial fashion assignments allow a certain degree of spontaneity. On this particular occasion, at the Banchao Family Park just outside Taipei, I was scratching my head trying to decide on a suitable location. As my assistant, Binlang Billy, wandered passed the glass topped table I noticed his reflection and this is the result. Of course Sonya looks much better here than Billy, who was perched precauriously on a wall behind me holding a reflector board to cast light upon her face.
