Kurt Vonnegut Jr.
I met and photographed Mr Vonnegut at the Oyster Bar at Grand Central Station in 1986. Those antennae you can see sticking out of his head and the flying saucers above are actually based on the lighting in the Oyster Bar where the New York glitterati had gathered for a reception for Ian MacCullum. After I took the picture I said "Thank you for writing all those books" but was so awestruck that I didn't catch his reply. Also at the same event was Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis whom I photographed, but didn't press too much after watching overzealous papparazzis popping flashes in her face while she was trying to eat dinner.Anyway don't waste too much time checking out the links and looking at his picture. Read his books, he's a writer and a very good one!
