Tammy Turner Tammy Turner is a principal of Asia On-Line Taiwan and co-founder and partner of Pristine Communications. In addition she holds the Co-Vice Chair of the Internet Working Committee of the Information Network Association, ROC, a founding member of the Taiwan Public Internet Exchange, Steering Committee Member of the Women's International Network and Volunteer of the Women's Rescue Foundation. She has also written many articles about the Internet and telecommunications in Taiwan. Arriving in Taiwan in June of 1986, Tammy Turner began her Far East adventure by studying Chinese non-stop for the next three years. In 1990, she established Pristine Communications with Philip Diller, a long-time friend, mentor, and now, husband. Together they have built what has become one of the most well-known and respected high-tech translation agencies in Asia. In early 1994 the husband and wife team of Pristine Communications ventured into the world of the Internet and established a new company, Pristine Internet Gateway, in 1995, which provided Internet access, Web design and hosting services in the greater Taipei area. In May of 1996, the company was acquired by Asia Communications Global (ACG), an on-line services initiative dedicated to providing innovative, Asia-focused new media services on the Internet and is now known as Asia On-Line Taiwan.
